Track every business mile
The biggest deduction most gig drivers get
- The IRS pays you per business mile: 70 cents in 2025, 72.5 cents in 2026.
- At 18,000 business miles, that's $12,600 you can write off in 2025, or $13,050 in 2026.
- Log every trip the day it happens. Stride, MileIQ, and Hurdlr run in the background while you drive.
- Personal trips do not count. The commute from home does not count. Trips between deliveries do.
